worlds longest rational open water swimming competition, is organized every year by Murshidabad Swimming Association, Berhampore, Murshidabad, India since 1943.

The School was part of Berhampore College, established in November, 1853 AD. It first started in the building now known as the Manindra Hostel (or Main Hostel). The foundation stone was laid by the Hon’ble Sir Edward Norman Baker, K.C.S.I., the then Lieutenant Governor of Bengal, on the 9th of August, 1909.
