The construction of this building was complete in December 1837 AD. The total area of the Hazarduari complex is 41 acres. This magnificent building was built at a cost of Rs. 20.5 lacs. The Palace has 114 rooms and 8 Galleries. The architect of the building was Colonel Duncan McLeod of the Bengal Corps.&lt;/p&gt;
